My name is Lucy. I am 23 years old, a student living in Bavaria, Germany — and I create art from one of the most personal materials possible: my own blood.
It might sound strange, but I used to be terrified of blood, needles, and doctors. That fear stayed with me for years. Then something shifted. Instead of turning away, I turned toward it — and discovered that what once made me flinch could become something beautiful.
I know my work meets resistance. Blood art is a sensitive subject, and I understand that it can provoke discomfort or even disgust. That reaction is part of the conversation. I try to communicate what I do as openly and thoughtfully as I can — because I believe art made from something raw and real deserves to be seen.

Mein Name ist Lucy. Ich bin 23 Jahre alt, Studentin und lebe in Bayern — und ich erschaffe Kunst aus einem der persönlichsten Materialien, die es gibt: meinem eigenen Blut.
Das klingt vielleicht seltsam, aber ich hatte früher große Angst vor Blut, Nadeln und Ärzten. Diese Angst begleitete mich jahrelang. Dann veränderte sich etwas. Anstatt mich abzuwenden, habe ich mich dem zugewandt — und entdeckt, dass das, was mich einst erschaudern ließ, etwas Wunderschönes werden kann.
Ich weiß, dass meine Arbeit auf Widerstand stößt. Blutkunst ist ein sensibles Thema, das Unbehagen oder sogar Abscheu auslösen kann. Diese Reaktion ist Teil des Gesprächs. Ich versuche, so offen und durchdacht wie möglich über das zu kommunizieren, was ich tue — denn ich glaube, dass Kunst, die aus etwas Rohem und Realem entsteht, gesehen werden sollte.
